APW - Illinois, Sangamo Special, unmarked 60 Hour, 23J, 17S, white gold-filled OF original Sangamo Special Model case, Gothic Montgomery white enamel DS 17S dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, jeweled barrel arbor, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#4628766.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking somewhat sluggishly on a full wind, overhaul recommended, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered micro-fine scratches, oxide to regulator assembly; dial with light outer chapter hls at 5:30 and between 7 and 9, wispy haze to glaze finish that is visible in reflected light; fine hands with some oxide which is most notable to tip of minute; case shows light wear, some fine scratches to rear, shallow small dent near center rear, some scattered nicks elsewhere, very thin slivers of wear to brass to outermost lips of bezel and rear perimeter, tiny specks of wear to brass to high points of pendant, circular scrape and rub inside case rear likely caused by screw heads of mvt's motor barrel; bow pivots freely, crown shows medium wear; good glass crystal.
